The well known Shanklin Rotary Sale draws to a close after another two busy weeks, slower this year to start than the £45,000 odd achieved in 2011, however this is a difficult year for people yet already sales are approaching £42,000. While it is always exciting to top the previous year's figures it is important to remember that these funds are raised to be spent locally on the Island in and around the Shanklin area.
